One restaurant thriving in a sluggish economy

Like baseball, dining out could be considered an American pastime. Americans love to eat out. However, expenditures for eating out have seen a steady decline according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This decline is due in part to the sluggish economy that has plagued the U.S. since 2008. Consumer prices have increased while incomes have declined mainly due to job loss. If people are not eating out, that means a lot of restaurants are more than likely failing or have failed. But one local Dallas restaurant appears to be beating the odds by offering great food and atmosphere. Managing Partner John McBride was kind enough to let us in on the secrets to his thriving business.

“…People have to eat, people have to drink. So really what is comes down to providing a good product at a fair price in a nice environment.” – John McBride, Managing Partner The Lot Dallas http://www.thelotdallas.com/
