I also am impressed with the variety and uniqueness of your blog. I initially found you googling chemo cold caps. I work for Chemo Cold Caps, LLC and I provide the scalp cooling process. I related to your story about oncologist being pretty clueless about scalp cooling to mitigate hair loss. I run into this constantly and am struggling to create awareness and grow my business. Do you have any suggestions for me? Especially since recommendations are definitely not coming from the nurses or doctors even after I have proved the process works. Crazy!

I would find a local support group for Cancer patients and survivors to get the word out. Have plenty of brochures handy and testimonials from people who have used the system. If you have a promo video, I would provide copies for these people to take to their oncologist. Make it a grass-roots effort. Then, I would approach the Oncology Nursing Society http://www.ons.org/, American Society of Clinical Oncology http://www.asco.org/, and the American Cancer Society http://www.cancer.org/ to setup presentations that include people to give live testimonials.
